Poet Soumendra Dutta Bhowmick's one poem
DEADLOCK
If you remain silent days after days
In front of my prayer,
The hostile weather always makes an inmate scene
Understanding the sex-poverty.
The neighbours feel my ill-luck
As if a king most filthy!
If you elude the Roses of a
Wilful shiny Lover,
The birds also stop their chattering,
Rather those think over the
Unknown peculiar reasons
Which are stout and standing as Himalayas
Between hate and Love’s border
And no Sunny morn is visible only with patience
For the Supreme’s Order.
